The Piano is made from material stronger than the standard 12 gauge. Its doors are 2 inches thick, and are fitted with steel thresholds, bullet hinges with built-in lubricant access, and tabs with pre-drilled holes along the jamb. For maximum energy efficiency, the 5/8" tempered dual pane operable glass has dual sealing to reduce heat and air loss. Our Piano - Double Full Arch is equipped with Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping to minimize the transfer of temperature between hot and cold climates. Additionally, the bottom of the door provides infiltration protection against sound, light, drafts, insects, and moisture.
